We had a packed house for our JOKE TELLING meeting on Tuesday. All Rotarians were given the opportunity to share two jokes. Our fine master David Hahn kept score and Darcy McNaboe and Terri Relf tied for first place. The booby prize went to our Immediate Past President Jim Smith. It was definitely a FUN time for all!
Today we are honored to have Otis Greer, who currently serves as the Director of Legislative and Public Affairs for the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) managing community and government relations, outreach, and media relations programs. Our secretary Darcy McNaboe will be introducing him. Let's give him a warm welcome.

District Simplified Grants
District grants are grants that enable clubs and districts to address immediate needs in their communities and abroad.
Districts may request up to 50 percent of their District Designated Fund for grants annually.
Districts manage and disburse these funds to support district- and club-sponsored activities, including vocational training teams, scholarships, humanitarian service projects, and cultural exchanges, provided they are aligned with the Foundation’s mission. This year we received approximately $650.00 in this type of grant which we are using it for Rotary Life Scholarships.
Matching Grants:
Provide matching funds for the international service projects of Rotary clubs and districts. Since 1965, more than 20,000 Matching Grants projects in 166 countries have been funded at a cost of more than US $198 million.
