Thank you to all of you who made the temporary transition last Tuesday to Claim Jumper. I think they were very accommodating and we had a good turnout who heard an inspirational message about faith, dedication, and commitment from Tony Collins Cifuentes. Thank you, Tony.
There is no luncheon next Tuesday. Instead, we have the 8-club combined Holiday dinner at the Elks Lodge Wednesday night 12/7 at 5:30.
It will be a special night and look forward to seeing you all there.
As was shared at our luncheon meeting before Thanksgiving, Liz at the Elks Lodge is providing the following message and reminder:
Access To Learning for All Students (ATLAS)
Holiday Times, we often think of the younger children, but sometimes we forget the young adults in middle and high school. The Elks Lodge #836, where we have our Rotary meetings, is gathering gifts and warm clothing for these young adults.
New socks and under ware for Boys and Girls. Other types of clothing including, but are not limited to, good quality hoodies, pullovers, coats, jackets, beanies, and gloves for warmth, shirts, blouses, pants, and dresses along with any type of clothing.
Young Kids also can like board games, balls of any kind, and arts and crafts as well. It’s difficult to decide, but honestly, they would appreciate anything and need everything (money included).
Please bring anything you have to donate to either our Holiday Gala on December 7, 2022 or to our last meeting of this year on December 13, 2022, at the Elks Club.
Have a Marvelous Holiday Season
